Is the cookware induction compatible?
Yes. The Terra dutch oven works on induction, gas, electric and ceramic, and is oven safe to 500°F.
Are the stoneware plates dishwasher safe?
They are, along with the canisters' ceramic bodies. The ash lids and all wood pieces should be washed by hand.
Why do two plates look slightly different?
The glaze is reactive, so speckle and tone shift from kiln load to kiln load. Sets are matched as closely as we can, but small variation is part of the material.
How do I care for olive wood?
Hand wash in warm water, dry standing up, and rub in a little food-safe mineral oil every month or so. Never leave it soaking or put it in the dishwasher.
Will the marble mortar stain?
Marble is porous, so turmeric and beetroot can leave a shadow. Rinse straight after use. Most marks fade; a paste of bicarbonate and water lifts the rest.
Do you restock sold-out items?
Yes, though small-batch production means it can take four to six weeks. Add your email on the product page and we'll tell you the day it lands.
Can I order a single plate rather than a set?
Not through the site, but write to us and we'll usually sort it out.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every order ships in unbranded recycled packaging that's presentable as-is. Add a note at checkout and we'll leave the invoice out.
